Harvey Sorensen is a partner at the largest law firm in Kansas. He's co-chairman of the Visioneering Wichita steering committee and a private sector representative for the Greater Wichita Economic Development Coalition. The 60-year-old father of four serves on the boards of two companies, Appearance Group and Equity Bancshares, as well as Wichita Technology Corp. Starting Jan. 1, he will take on the very public role of chairman of the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce. That's after serving on the Chamber's board of directors the past six years. The one thing that people need to know about Sorensen, friends and associates said, is that he is tireless and dedicated to whatever project or organization to which he commits.
